Steven is the Chief Information Security Officer at Pearl Bank Uganda, where he leads the Bank’s shift from proactive cybersecurity to predictive, intelligence-led defence. With over 15 years of experience across technology, cybersecurity, risk, & governance, he applies AI, automation, and advanced analytics to strengthen detection, accelerate response, and close the gap between threat activity and security action.

He has led major cybersecurity transformation initiatives across security operations, identity, data protection, and enterprise governance, while supporting the Bank’s attainment of ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and PCI DSS certification. His work focuses on modern SOC evolution, agentic AI in cyber defence, and human-led oversight at machine speed.
